Mr. Soo Hoo plays in our pasture in the early morning light.

We were recently honored by a visit to The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm by Mr. Peter Soo Hoo and his family. Mr. Soo Hoo, who played with the White House Marine Band for 20 years, offered to play his violin for our guests during breakfast. He played Josh Brogan's " You Raise Me Up" (melody based on the Irish tune Danny Boy), "Shenandoah", and others. As many of you know the view to the west from our dining room windows is the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Shenandoah National Park. Seeing that view and listening to Mr Soo Hoo play was - well more special than words can describe. More than one of our guests had a tear in his eye.

It was an honor and a privilege for us to be graced with Mr. Soo Hoo's musical gift. Thank you for sharing your gift, Mr. Soo Hoo, and for bringing your beautiful family to visit us. We look forward to your return.

Come to Charlottesville, Virginia and enjoy a serene country retreat

at the Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
