Summer in the Blue Ridge Mountains Brings Starry Nights at Veritas Vineyards in Nelson County

Late Saturday evenings during the summer months in nearby Nelson County usually mean Starry Nights at Veritas Vineyards and Winery. Starry Nights is a monthly concert series at Veritas that runs from June through September, and a favorite way to spend a Saturday night for many in and around C'ville (and for those in nearby cities that come to the Blue Ridge for a weekend getaway). You can bring your own picnic to enjoy under the stars or sit down to a catered meal prepared by the Chef at Veritas, each course paired with the perfect wine.

Enjoy an evening of live music, wine, and the great outdoors! Bring your family, friends, picnic, blankets, lawnchairs and dancing shoes for a memorable night under the stars. Remember, they do not allow outside alcohol, but there's plenty of Veritas wine available to purchase. The cost to get in is $15 per person (which includes a Veritas wine glass keepsake).  Purchase tickets online or at the event.  For more information or to make reservations for a table or dinner, call 540-456-8000 ext. 108.

Plan to get away on Friday, August 12th, and come to The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm.  Spend the day on Saturday hiking or touring one of the many historical sites in the area. Then join the folks at Veritas on Saturday, August 13th at 7:00 pm and listen to live music by New Orleans Blues legend Little Freddy King. Wake up refreshed Sunday morning to a fantastic country breakfast before heading down the Hollow and back to wherever you call home. Now that's a great plan! We've got just the right room waiting for you.  Come see us!
