Sausage Cheese Grits Casserole

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:

1 lb sausage
1 cup regular or quick grits
4 tbsp butter
1 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
3 eggs
1 cup milk

Preparation:

Cook grits per directions on bag using water and salt, then add:
4 tbsp butter
1 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
3 eggs beaten
1 cup milk

Stir until well mixed and place browned sausage in bottom of greased 9 X 13 casserole.

Pour grit mixture over sausage. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
